About Jenny
“The most beautiful people I have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out the depths.”
–Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
What I Believe
Life is not easy. Having someone to walk alongside you can be extremely beneficial. My goal is to create a safe space for individuals, families and children to share their story. By exploring the past or setting goals for the future, I will support you in your journey to a life well lived.
My Family
I am very fortunate to have a family that has supported me along my own journey. My parents will be celebrating their 38th wedding anniversary this year and have been a wonderful example of what makes a relationship work. I have two older sisters, a brother in law and 6 year old niece and 4 year old nephew. They have all taught me the importance of having a safe place to land when life is challenging.
Who I Work With
I am passionate about working with women, parents and children. I walk alongside women as they struggle with relationships or difficult life transitions. I assist parents in exploring new techniques for raising their children. I work directly with children using play to work through trauma or explore behavioral concerns.
Special Interest
I have a strong desire to work with individuals with special needs. I believe parenting is difficult, and being a parent of a child with any sort of developmental delay adds an extra layer of difficulty. I am extremely passionate about not only working with these children, but their siblings and parents as well. I have seen firsthand the numerous roles these parents must play, and witnessed the emotional and physical toll it can take. It is my goal to create a safe place for families to talk about their frustrations without guilt or fear of judgment.
